Description
Very richly flowering selection of the Woodland Crocus. Produces several violet-purple flowers per bulb! Are very strong and naturalise easily through bulbils and seed. Crocus tommasinianus species flower very early, so combinations with Snowdrops are possible.

BeautifulWonderful colour, perfect for short grass. Mixes well with Crocus Pickwick and also naturalises and increases from year to year. Quality bulbs, delivered early and fresh, that make the difference.

Profusely blooming early sortCompared to large blooming varieties Barr's purple is smaller in bulbs as well as flowers.
I have planted them in drifts (quite densly) in front part of elevated bunk in natural part of my garden. The efekt is perfect. I have got thick carpet of flowers very early on.
Colour reminds me of native crocuses I admired in the Alps. In proper setting this variety is a real gem. -
Very small corms. Poor qualityThey're cheap. 34 euro for 500, but they are really small, about half the size of corms I recieved from other suppliers. They also have no sign on any growth tips and seem shriveled. I'm a little worried that they may not flower at all but for 34 euro I still would have purchased. I'd prefer if it said they were sub par bulbs though
