Description
Galanthus elwesii or 'Greater Snowdrop' is clearly larger than the ordinary G. nivalis in all respects. The white flowers have a large green mark on the inner petals and the wide leaves are grey-green. Also suitable for a sunny spot.

Standard but beautifulVery nice Galanthus variety, with some 20 cm tall flowers. This year, in SW Poland main bloom occurred first week of March. They make sense in minimum 100 bulbs arrangements and are very health.

SneeuwklokjesIk heb er 100 geplant (in groepjes van 3) om ze te laten uitgroeien tot bosjes.
Ze zijn - zover ik kan beoordelen - goed uitgekomen (vanaf de tweede helft van januari) . Nu is het wel wat geduld hebben, totdat het de volgende jaren grotere en goed zichtbare bosjes worden. -
Hoping some bulbs survived the rabbits...The few that actually flowered were lovely, unfortunately it seems that rabbits quite like them too!
